Bronson Ray Arabie
As noted on my Clouds EP review, the whole of the album takes Game Boy/NES-inspired beats and rhythms and applies techno inspirations onto them in such a glorious fashion. HELIX works in the exact same way, but has certainly evolved to create such a aurally-dominating set of songs to keep people hooked on Skip Cloud, and all of his previous songs.
Favorite track: Young Blood.
All tracks are a blast! Though each in a different way. Some are hopeful, some nostalgic, some reflective. For chiptune, there's a real range of emotions. My favorite is, of course, the saddest one. It brings me on the verge of tears almost every time. tautegory
